Two years ago we sealed the barrel on our very own whiskey, an unaged spirit prepared for us by Mat Thomson, Head Distiller of Thomson Distillery. We’ve since cracked the barrel and had a taste – and the transformation taking place is fascinating.
For this Whiskey Club, our fifth, we invite you to join Mat and head barkeep, Adam Burgess, as we literally taste how and why the whiskey magic happens, as it’s happening. Mat will also put on a range of other whiskies to sample, including his own quintessentially Kiwi ‘Manuka Smoke’ – along with a cocktail on arrival and generous nibbles provided by Head Chef Che Barrington.
